Pep Talk: Your body is great. Look at the way it gets you from place to place. So useful! Its unique marks and creases tell a story about the life you’ve lived. Your body is special and it just wants to help you. Love it back, why don’t ya.

You can forgive.

Pep talk: A grudge is like a fat, smelly bully in the corner of your brain repeatedly whispering, ” hey, remember when you felt like shit?” Unattractive image, right? Forgiveness, however, frees you from the pain of the past. It allows you to progress and to stop feeling like shit. If you forgive, you don’t necessarily have to forget, but you can at least stop obsessively thinking about who done you wrong.  I can’t even wrap my head around how angry and twisted my life would be without forgiveness. Forgiveness is a blessing.

Today remind yourself: I can forgive.

Opportunity knocks.

Pep talk: When opportunity comes your way today (or tomorrow… or whenever) you are gonna grab it by the hair and not let it go! You are going to take that opportunity back to your place and make sweet, sweet, consensual love to it. Then you’re gonna raise, like, a million baby opportunities, because from one opportunity will come many. You’re just swimming in awesome chances, my friend.

Today remind yourself: Opportunity knocks (you up).

You know when to run.

Pep Talk: If you need to, you can dump a person. It is within your ability. Taking yourself out of a relationship you don’t enjoy doesn’t make you a mean person. You don’t have to passively drive someone away- take the wheel- be the “bad guy”. Free yourself.

You battle.

Pep Talk: With every obstacle you overcome, you build character. Every break out you’ve endured, every break up you’ve refused to let kick your ass, every breakthrough you’ve had ten minutes after you did things the hard way- each challenge adds to your humility and resilience. You’re stronger because you have history.

Today remind yourself: I battle.

You’re open.

Pep Talk: You’re understanding of the past and uncommitted to the future. Anything could happen in the present and you’re as prepared as anybody. Bring it, life.
