You’ve earned some guilt-free self-indulgence.

Often, you’re go go going for weeks at a time. You have no chance to think about your body and what it needs because you’re consumed with the work of making people proud and providing hope and stability for yourself and your loved ones. Other times, you just need a goddamn break. As long as you’re fulfilling your responsibilities (learning, conserving resources, maintaining healthy relationships), I see nothing wrong with pulling the covers over your head and sleeping until noon. Work, leisure, in the end it all balances out, so if you have to take a few personal days to nourish your body and sustain mental health, so be it. When you need it, push guilt from your mind and indulge in some R&R.
