Shout Out: Caitlin has a big ol’ bright side.
“I sat down and started really looking at my life. Yea some really shitty stuff is happening… But some really amazing things are happening too; I am in four AP classes and -beside Calculus- I am a almost straight A student. The school made a program for Leadership kids, and I was accepted out of a thousand with 29 other kids. I wrote a play, two actually. I am “Celia” in As You Like It, a lead. I also am ‘Juror Four’ from Twelve Angry Jurors. I started a club for people with Metal illness, and am working on an anti-bullying assembly. I found a date to prom, through a program for special needs kids at my school. I have three friends, who have my back and I have theirs, and for the first time, they actually accept me, for me. I think I found a college, and my guys are going there too. I have people, and its nice. They know what to say, and don’t care that I don’t always. And they care, period. The best part is that I don’t have to figure stuff out right now, just

Hell, Caitlin, you did all that? You not only have things to be happy about, you created things to be happy about. You’ve taken an active role in your life and in the lives of others. Well done.
