Move over, Triscuits. There’s a new sherriff in town.
This recipe I stole from a cookbook, then immediately forgot the specifics.
Rachel’s Stolen Chick Pea Snack
Preheat your oven to 450
Drain a can of chick peas and spread them out in a pan. Maybe dry them off a little with a paper towel. Sprinkel them with whatever seasoning you like. I did seasoning salt and garlic powder. Pepper might also be good, I don’t know, follow your heart.
Stick them in the oven until they’re a little crunchy on the outside. Enjoy!
Here’s why I like them. For 1/4 of a cup it’s 2 points, so if you eat them all it’s about 8 points. That’s not too bad when you consider that an entire box of Triscuits is 20 points. These little guys are super filling too.
