Pep Talk: Not all bullies are after your lunch money. As we mature, bullies learn new tactics like peer pressure and guilt trips to monopolize your attention. You are not alone if you are being bullied into spending time with someone you can’t stand. You’re polite and I’m sure you don’t want to hurt their feelings, but you gotta get away from them before they take advantage of you. You aren’t the only person they can turn to and it’s not your responsibility to give them something to live for. It’s nice that they love you, but is this a person you want to be loved by? If people pleasing is your bag, this is going to be really tough because they are going to be pissed, but here’s the thing- fuck them. Better that they be mad then you be raped.
